Public Feedback sought for bus routes from Randolph to Lebanon

August 3, 2023

Randolph, Vermont… Tri-Valley Transit (TVT) is excited to expand service on the 89’er Commuter Route to better serve rural communities along the I-89 Corridor and invites public feedback on proposed changes to the route effective August 28, 2023.  All proposed changes are made with minimal impact to current riders while adding service to schools, businesses, and services in the area.

Proposed changes include:

  • Running 89’er #3 down Route 14 in the morning – this will provide access to White River Valley High School and Vermont Law School from Rochester, Stockbridge and Bethel as well as allow south Royalton Residents to use public transportation to Lebanon, Hanover, and White River Jct.
  • Adding a stop in the West Lebanon retail area on selected 89’er routes to allow access to employment and shopping services

On August 17 TVT will host a public meeting at 6:00 PM at the TVT offices located at 1 L Street in Randolph, Vermont.  For those unable to attend in person, a virtual meeting link and conference call number will be posted to the TVT website at www.trivalleytransit.org/.  Members of the public are also welcomed to provide feedback by email at info@trivalleytransit.org or mail at TVT Route Feedback PO Box 356 Randolph, VT 05060.
