GO! VERMONT

Go! Vermont provides a website and ridesharing database to help commuters and travelers get around. They offer free carpool matching and vanpool services, and statewide bus routes, as well as free Go! Vermont resources. The Guaranteed Ride Home Program gives commuters peace of mind. Regional Planning Commissions

Addison County Regional Planning Commission serves the 21 towns of the Addison Region and provides assistance on a range of community development activities and issues.

Two Rivers Ottauqueechee Regional Commission is an organization made up of 30 towns in East-Central Vermont that provides professional planning, mapping, facilitation, grant writing, and project management services. Their goals are to advocate for member towns, and to articulate a vision for the larger region.

Vermont Public Transportation Association

Vermont Public Transportation Association (VPTA) offers information about public transportation to the public and to policy makers; helps coordinate resource and information sharing for its members; and  contracts with government agencies to administer and develop transportation services throughout the state.  Jim Moulton, Executive Director of TVT, is a past Chair and current Vice Chair of VPTA and has been an active member since 2003.

Vermont Energy and Climate Action Network

Vermont’s network of town energy committees continues to grow, reflecting a powerful grassroots response to the pressing need to cut energy costs, foster renewable energy generation and lessen the state’s contribution to global warming. The following municipalities in our service area have Energy Committee membership: 

Barnard, Bradford, Braintree, Bristol, Brookfield, Chelsea, Corinth, Cornwall, Goshen, Fairlee, Hartford, Hartland, Lincoln, Middlebury, Monkton, New Haven, Newbury, Northfield, Norwich, Orwell, Panton, Randolph, Ripton, Rochester, Royalton, Sharon, Starksboro, Strafford, Thetford, Topsham, Tunbridge, Vergennes, Waltham, Weybridge, Whiting and Woodstock.

Vital Communities – Upper Valley TMA

The Vital Communities Transportation Program works with employers, municipalities, school districts, regional planners, and transit providers to improve transportation options. They work toward a safe, reliable, and multimodal transportation system in the Upper Valley that serves all, is affordable to use and operate, increases community resilience, and minimizes climate impact.
