Dial-A-Ride Program
What is Dial-A-Ride?
Many residents need to access healthcare and critical services, but have no transportation and cannot use our buses. Our Dial-A-Ride programs focus on older adults, persons with disabilities, and low-income families and individuals. Depending on eligibility, Dial-A-Ride may be free or subsidized. Rides are typically provided by volunteer Community Rides drivers or on wheelchair accessible buses when necessary.
Some Dial-A-Ride programs are supported by our regional Older Adults & Persons with Disabilities (O&D) Committees. For information about a regional committee, including minutes and meeting dates, click here for Addison Region or click here for Orange/No. Windsor Region.
