August 9th Dave Keller Concert Features Ice Cream Social & Free Shuttle Service by Stagecoach
Gifford Medical Center and the White River Valley Chamber of Commerce have been partnering all summer to offer a free Tuesday concert series to the community.
On Tuesday, August 9th, Stagecoach Transportation Services Inc. joins the effort with a special community ice cream social to accompany music by the renowned Dave Keller Band, a Vermont blues and soul group followed around the region and beyond.
Both the ice cream social and free concert start at 6 p.m. The ice cream social is “by donation” as part of Stagecoach’s thank you to the community for its support.
“The summer concert on the green with Dave Keller is becoming a fun tradition for the Stagecoach staff and board of directors,” said Jim Moulton, Stagecoach Executive Director. “This year, the Dave Keller Concert kicks off a series of community events that Stagecoach is hosting to celebrate our 40th anniversary. Please come by to learn more about the Stuff-the-Bus events that we will be hosting in Randolph and Bradford on September 3rd and our 40th Anniversary Community Celebration that we are hosting on September 10th.”
As a special thank you to the community for its ongoing support, Stagecoach will be providing free shuttle service for folks who live in town and would like a ride to the event. For more information or to book a ride, please call the Stagecoach office at 802-728-3773.
Spectators are encouraged to bring a lawn chair or picnic blanket and family and friends.
The final concert for the season will be on Tuesday, August 16th at 6 p.m. with music by Swing Noir and food by the Sunrise Rotary.
